Thanks to NAKALA Import and NAKALA Export plugins, data are in NAKALA and in NAKALONA.
Nevertheless, the purpose of these complementary tools is different: NAKALA is used to store data whereas NAKALONA is used to display data. You must therefore choose the environment where you modify data according to your scientific objectives.
In addition, while it is possible to import and to export data from Omeka, you must be careful to choose one method (import or export) to manage and update data, since the modifications made in one tool will appear in the other thanks to the import/export only if the data have been modified where they were created. Thus, it isn’t possible to create data in NAKALA, to import them into Omeka, to modify them and to export them to NAKALA.
